Did you know we have over 6,000 swimmers per week on our KAL Learn 2 Swim programme? As our programme grows, we need our workforce to expand accordingly. We are now recruiting for an Aquatic and Activity Activator. There are Grade B and Grade C roles available, depending on experience.

Minimum Requirements

Swim England (STA) Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent (e.g., STA), with internal training and RPL during the first 6 months
RLSS National Pool Lifeguard or NRASTC Qualification, or ability to complete within the first 3 months of employment
Flexibility to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours
At least 6 months' experience in aquatics and activity roles, either through work or volunteering
Grade C or previous experience supervising staff, or the ability to do so

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality sessions following the Swim England Learn to Swim/School Swimming Charter Scheme, ensuring excellent customer experiences
Use KAL's recording systems to communicate children's progression to parents and teachers effectively
