Head of Finance
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
Salary: Up to 80,000 + Benefits
Working Pattern: Hybrid

A leading manufacturing business based in Knutsford is seeking a Finance Leader to take ownership of its finance function and join its Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of a business aiming to be best in class worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Own all financial operations, controls, and compliance
Lead month-end close and management accounts
Build and maintain a rolling 12-month forecast
Track and analyse order intake, income, margin, overheads and EBIT
Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to turn insight into action
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
Oversee payroll, tax, VAT, statutory reporting, audit and ERP transition
Develop and mentor a highly experienced team member

What We're Looking For:

Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
Experience in a financial leadership role within manufacturing
An understanding of the complexities of working in a global business
Strong grip on controls, reporting and compliance
Commercial mindset and ability to create clarity from complexity
Personable, hands-on approach with high resilience and curiosity
Able to wear multiple hats and thrive in a senior, visible role
