POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY

Installation, service and maintenance of Residential and Commercial Engineered Fire Alarm and Burglar Alarm Systems. Testing of alarm panels, devices, and installed/services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, Service, Program, Test and Inspect Alarm Systems.

Provide technical support to Customers including, remote phone diagnosis, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers.

Perform or be available for other technical or engineering duties as assigned.

Ensure equipment is functional and operational.

Interact professionally with customers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Comprehensive knowledge of all types of fire alarm equipment operation and functionality, Reading blueprints and wire schematics a plus.

Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Minimum of two (2) years practical alarm installation and service experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a variety of environments. Including but not limited to, Residential homes, warehouse, and office environments.

Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, standing and walking significant distances.

Work from ladders and scaffolds or at heights above 30 feet.

Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Employee may be subject to some lifting up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
