Travel will be required, but it will never take place on weekends. Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role is essential for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including cabling, fire alarms, and other electrical components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of computer networking and hardware, along with practical experience in low voltage applications.

Duties

Install and maintain low voltage systems, including cabling for data and voice communications.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to low voltage systems.
Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on installed systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all installations and repairs.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of service calls and installations.

Skills

Proficient in computer networking principles and practices.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware components.
Certification in low voltage installation or related fields is preferred.
Experience with cabling techniques and standards.
Familiarity with fire alarm systems and their installation requirements.
Solid electrical knowledge to troubleshoot various issues effectively.
Mechanical aptitude to build and assemble necessary components as required.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach.
