Job title: Collection Specialist

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040

Pay Rate: $19-$24 per hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonus (average $500/month)

Start Date: Jul 14

Training: Hybrid for approximately 5 weeks (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST)

Schedule After Training:

Mon-Thurs: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM MST

Fri: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM MST

Rotating Saturdays: Approximately every third week, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM MST

Office presence required 2-3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs during training)

Position Overview:

As a Collections Team Member, you will be responsible for coordinating the collection of delinquent auto loan payments. Your primary duty is to contact customers with overdue accounts, notify them of their status, and solicit payment. You will also receive payments, document interactions, and escalate accounts to the credit department when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Contact customers with delinquent auto loan accounts to arrange payment

Keep accurate and detailed records of collection activities

Prepare reports and statements for the credit department as needed

Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
