We are looking for an engaging, creative, community and data driven Marketing Coordinator that understands the art and science of successful social and digital marketing. The candidate will help to develop and manage social media and digital programs across all platforms that support business objectives, lead acquisition, promote community engagement, foster customer retention, provide sales support, and advance brand reach for Luna Park in Coney Island.

About us:

Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City . In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010 developed Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.

1. POSITION: Social & Digital Marketing Coordinator

2. LOCATION: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224

3. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help to develop, execute, optimize and report on comprehensive social media and digital marketing campaigns.

Maintain posting schedules and regular content engagement for Luna Park including attractions, events, retail, concession and more.

Track and analyze social media activity and performance across all platforms.

Handle and coordinate all influencer inquiries and requests.

Coordinate across multiple departments to understand and communicate key messaging and initiatives to the public.

Keep up to date on emerging trends, networks and changes in the social media landscape.

Strengthen and grow brand recognition and interactions across all digital platforms

Communicating with outside freelancers and internal teams to produce and route content for approvals

Uploading content to WordPress and cross-promoting it on related platforms including customer newsletter

Attend events as needed to coordinate social coverage and engagement

4. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated experience in communications, social media and digital marketing with knowledge of standards and best practices

Proficiency with web and social media analytics, tracking and reporting

Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Experience in writing and editing for a digital and social audience

Experience managing timelines and deadlines for content production

Minimum two (2) years of experience as Digital & Social Marketing Coordinator

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines

Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, SEO, SEM, CRM, and PPC to drive conversions a plus

A passion for the entertainment industry and helping to deliver memories to families who need a break from daily rigors of life.

Due to the nature of the amusement park business, must be able to work a flexible

schedule which include weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
