Actuarial Consultant - Life Insurance, Migrations, Valuations, Reserving, Data Structures, Prophet, MoSes. £800 p/d Outside IR35, 6 months/Late July Start

A consultancy client of ours is supporting a major German life insurer to deliver a large-scale policy migration and transformation programme. In light of this, we're looking for five Actuarial Consultants to help ensure accurate actuarial modelling, compliance and system integration throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities

Validate and reconcile actuarial outputs during policy migration.
Review reserving, valuation and policyholder calculations.
Ensure compliance with Solvency II and internal regulatory standards.
Support testing, automation and migration of actuarial models and data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (actuarial, IT, transformation).

Requirements

Fully qualified actuary (FIA, DAV or equivalent).
Experience in life insurance, particularly with migrations, valuations or reserving.
Strong understanding of actuarial models and data structures.
Ability to work across technical and project-focussed teams.

Desirable Requirements

Experience with Prophet, MoSes or similar modelling tools.
Familiarity with German insurance regulation or market.
German speaking would be great but is not required for this.

This is a remote-first role, with travel once or twice to Germany throughout the during of the contract.
