Life Claims Assessor
Contract: 6 months with possibility of permanent role
Location: Remote
Rate: £350 - £400 per day (inside IR35)

Join a global professional services firm delivering technology-enabled consulting and operational solutions to the insurance industry. We're seeking a Life Claims Assessor who is passionate about providing fair, timely claims decisions and supporting customers when they need it most.

As a Life Claims Assessor, you will manage individual life protection claims from initial notification through to settlement, working within clear guidelines to ensure speed, accuracy, and empathy in every case.

Responsibilities
Assess individual life protection claims in line with policy terms and claims philosophy
Handle claims from start to finish within agreed authority and service standards
Communicate with customers, intermediaries, doctors, reinsurers, and service providers
Manage appeals and complaints, providing clear explanations of decisions and requirements
Contribute ideas to improve claims processes and maintain best practice

About You
Proven experience as a Life Claims Assessor in underwritten protection products
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organised and able to manage multiple cases efficiently
Customer-focused with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment
