Gulfstream is seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful Permit Coordinator with proven experience in real estate development, executive support, and the construction permitting process. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of regulatory agencies and permitting requirements relevant to land development projects across Florida.

This role is essential to the success of our projects. The Permit Coordinator will lead the charge in organizing project documentation (both digital and hard copy), tracking and submitting permit applications, and preparing responses to contractor, client, and agency requests for additional information.

As the central point of contact for permit coordination, this team member will work closely with the Principal-in-Charge to align staff resources and maintain project momentum through every stage of design and entitlement. From pre-application through final approvals, the Permit Coordinator will ensure deadlines are met and that our team remains responsive, accurate, and professional in all interactions.

Principal Accountability:
Extremely strong collaboration and communication skills
Strong understanding of engineering office administration
Ability to oversee numerous projects efficiently and effectively
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
Proficient in Adobe Suite of Products (Photoshop, etc)
Relationships with local contractors and governmental agencies to Northeast Florida preferred
Maintain the chart of current permit applications
Maintain the production schedule of the office
Candidate shall possess extremely strong collaboration and communication skills
Candidate shall possess strong organizational skills
Candidate shall possess strong understanding of civil engineering plans - grading, utilities
Candidate shall possess understanding of proper protocol in the field and documentation as required per contracts
Candidate shall possess ability to oversee numerous project efficiently and effectively
Candidate shall be proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel

Desired Qualifications: The candidate should have an Associate's degree or equivalent business experience, as well as knowledge of permit application processing. Responsibilities
Coordinate and expedite the permitting process for civil site construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop for project documentation and presentations.
Maintain organized records and files, managing calendars and schedules efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Utilize QuickBooks for budget tracking and financial reporting as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
