We are seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Assistants for the school year for our Before and After School Program at Mahopac Falls Academy in Mahopac, NY.

PAY: $15.50 per hour
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

Support engaging, hands-on activities using our Healthy Kids Curriculum from physical fitness and STEAM fun to academic enrichment, artsy projects, and more. Dont forget about homework help!

Create a safe, healthy, and super-fun atmosphere where kids feel supported. Be the role model they look forward to seeing every day.

Stay in touch with families through the Playground App keeping them updated with highlights and important moments.

Stay compliant with OCFS regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program guidelines, and our host schools policies like a champ.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Youre at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

While one year of experience working with kids under 13 is great, its not required we value enthusiasm and dedication!

Be prepared to pass a background check (including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services).

Medically cleared to perform all job responsibilities and free of any communicable diseases, including TB.

You're upbeat, approachable, and dependable. You get along great with children, families, and coworkers. Plus, you're always on time and ready to go.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs., move, stretch, and handle the physical activity that comes with keeping up with energetic kids!
