The Senior Histotechnician, Quality Control, is responsible for developing and implementing testing, sampling, and inspection procedures on raw materials, equipment, in-process materials, and/or finished products to ensure that product specifications and company and regulatory requirements are met. Investigates and troubleshoots functionality and performance problems. Recommends corrective action when appropriate. May monitor and execute on-site equipment and tools calibration.

This position reports to the Manager, Quality Assurance and is part of the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Department l ocated in Richmond, Illinois and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection on product for release.
Assist in the maintenance of laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables.
Perform additional testing and investigation related to customer complaints, nonconformances, and project support.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimum 1 year of proven experience in quality control, histology, or clinical laboratory processing tissue samples.
Associate's degree or Certificate in Histology Required.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

FDA-controlled manufacturing environment
Quality Control
Good Document Practices (GDP)

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $33.00 to 36.00 an hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
