Job Summary: This position requires a skilled technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services for gas fireplaces and dryer vents. The technician will ensure the safe and efficient operation of these systems, providing excellent customer service and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Gas Fireplace Services:
Inspect, clean, and maintain gas fireplaces, including burners, pilot lights, and venting systems.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions, including gas leaks, ignition problems, and control system issues.
Perform safety checks and ensure proper ventilation to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.
Provide customer education on safe fireplace operation and maintenance.
Adhere to all local and national gas safety codes.
Dryer Vent Services:
Clean dryer vents to remove lint and debris, preventing fire hazards and improving dryer efficiency.
Inspect dryer vent systems for blockages, damage, and proper installation.
Repair or replace damaged vent components.
Educate customers on the importance of regular dryer vent cleaning.
Use specialized tools and equipment to properly clean dryer vents.
General Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns professionally.
Maintain accurate records of services performed.
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
Maintain company vehicle and equipment.
Be able to work in varying job site conditions.
Be able to lift and move heavy objects.
Must be willing to cross-train in other departments

Qualifications:

Relevant experience in gas fireplace repair and dryer vent cleaning.
Knowledge of gas fireplace systems, venting, and safety standards.
Familiarity with dryer vent systems and cleaning procedures.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Certification with NFI (National Fireplace Institute) is a plus.
Ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00/hour depending on experience.
