Software Engineer (Angular/Kotlin/Springboot) | 6 Month Contract (OIR35) | Hybrid

We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to play a key role in developing and evolving a suite of high-performance applications. You'll be working across the entire technology stack, from dynamic, user-friendly web interfaces to robust, scalable Back End microservices - helping to deliver impactful releases in an agile, four-week sprint cycle.

Location: Coventry (2 days onsite)

Contract: 6 months (OIR35)

Rate: £250-300 p/day

Start date: ASAP

Key Skills:

Strong Front End development experience with Angular.
Proven Back End expertise with Kotlin and Spring Boot v3.
Skilled in designing and maintaining microservices architectures.
Confident working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or equivalent).
Understanding of RESTful API design and third-party integrations.
Experience with testing frameworks, debugging, and performance optimisation.
Familiarity with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications and microservices.
Build and optimise SQL schemas and queries for performance and scalability.
Integrate APIs and third-party services into core systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, maintainable software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, contributing to team standards and documentation.
Support production deployments, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and user experience
