Accounts Payable Assistant (6 Week Temp / Temp to Perm Opportunity)

Hours: 37 per week
Pay rate: £15.00 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay (PAYE, paid weekly)

The Opportunity
We re supporting a busy finance department at a large UK college in recruiting two Accounts Payable Assistants. One is a 6 week contract to help manage a backlog, and the second offers a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. You'll be working alongside a supportive team, tackling a range of finance and admin tasks in a collaborative office environment.

What You ll Be Doing

Processing and matching supplier invoices
Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Reconciling statements and resolving invoice queries
Supporting backlog clearance efforts
Using Excel and Word for general finance admin
Communicating with internal teams and suppliers

Who are we looking for?

Experience in a finance or accounts payable role
Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Organised, with strong communication skills
Happy working in a shared office with others
