Interim Group Accountant
Stoke-on-Trent (Office-based role)
Up to £450pd DOE
I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with a well-known manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent as they look for an interim Group Accountant. This role will be for a minimum of three months.
Key Duties of this role:
- Leading the UK management accounts team, responsible for a team of four across accounts.
- Improve and deliver robust financial controls across the general ledger
- Lead the day-to-day audit process to achieve agreed deliverables and reporting deadlines.
- Responsibility for monthly subsidiary accounting, consolidation and reporting.
- Responsibility for preparing the year end statutory accounts for Group entities.
- Identifying opportunities across areas of responsibility to improve processes, controls, and analysis.
- Ad hoc/ongoing support to Finance senior management.
Person Specification:
- ACA or ACCA
- Experience of financial reporting under IFRS
- Keen interest in reporting and maintaining up to date knowledge
