Interim Financial Accountant Barnsley (predominantly office-based) Up to £400p/d DOE (inside IR35) I'm delighted to be working alongside one of our longest-standing clients as they seek an interim Financial Accountant for one of their sites in Barnsley. This contract will roll for a minimum of 6 months.

This Financial Accountant assignment requires a technically-minded, all-encompassing contractor who can hit the ground running.

Key duties will include:

Preparing Financial Statements: Compile accurate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Maintaining Financial Records: Ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly and systematically for transparency and compliance.
Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to legal, tax, and financial regulations, including filing statutory reports and meeting audit requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.

In order to be considered for this role you will:

Be a fully-qualified accountant (ideally ACA/ACCA - though CIMA will be considered)
Have controls experience
Be able to be based on-site the majority of the time, there may be an option for one day working from home per week following training
Be able to handle a fast-paced, changing environment
