The successful candidate will play a crucial part in supporting the implementation of a new VAT system, utilising their technical proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills.
What you'll do:
As a Fixed Assets Accountant, you will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of a new VAT system. Your role will involve managing and maintaining fixed assets accounting records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. You will liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, providing technical accounting advice to non-finance colleagues when necessary. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Fixed Assets Accountant role is a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in fixed assets accounting and VAT. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance colleagues. Your technical proficiency in accounting software enables you to efficiently manage and maintain accounting records. A strong understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulations ensures your work is compliant and accurate. Lastly, you are able to commute to our Warwickshire-based office on a hybrid basis.
