Supply Planner

Position: Supply Planner

Pay: $30-$37/hour

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Type: Contract (6+ months)

Location: Gurnee, IL

Potential Start Date: 1–2 weeks

Qualifications:

2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Order Management, Distribution, and collaboration with warehouses and manufacturers within the manufacturing and distribution industry.
Required: Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and Excel.
Preferred: Experience with PowerBI, SharePoint, and Syspro.
Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Analyze demand variability and replenishment lead times to determine target stocking levels and set planning parameters.
Develop and distribute a feasible replenishment plan, reviewing requirements against forecast and inventory levels.
Collaborate with the Master Planner to align production plans with capacity constraints.
Monitor and adjust inventory levels to support target stocking levels and on-time customer shipments.
Coordinate inventory pre-builds to account for capacity limitations in collaboration with Manufacturing, Finance, and Distribution teams.
Review exception reports, execute necessary order adjustments, and ensure replenishment plans are met.
Generate and distribute replenishment forecasts to internal and external supply chain partners.
Resolve material or capacity constraints by coordinating with functional representatives.
Create and manage work orders for assigned products, including conversions, displays, and subassemblies.
Enter, receive, and expedite purchase orders as needed.
Support the development and reporting of department metrics to improve processes.
Assist with sourcing analyses for finished goods and other special projects as assigned.
