The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing daily and monthly accounting operations. This position requires a self-starter with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to help establish or improve internal processes. Ideal candidates are solutions-oriented, thrive in evolving environments, and bring both technical proficiency and strategic insight to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries and perform detailed account reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with GAAP
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking, depreciation, and disposals
- Perform financial analysis and support reporting to assist management decision-making
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts and conduct variance analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial compliance
- Participate in audits and assist in gathering required documentation
- Help improve current accounting processes and assist in system enhancements
- Provide mentorship and oversight to junior staff members
- Contribute to special projects, including potential system upgrades
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and general ledger systems (experience with ERP systems like N4 Syteline, NetSuite, or Dynamics is a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility available)
