Ruby Engineer / Outside IR35/ Hybrid Working / 12 Month Contract

Extensive expertise in Ruby on Rails, with a strong track record of building and scaling web applications.
Advanced front-end development skills, specializing in JavaScript, React, Vue.js, and similar frameworks.
Deep knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other database systems.
Familiarity with a range of technologies, such as Angular, Node.js, and React, ensuring versatility in development.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
Proficiency in RESTful API development and seamless integration into applications.
Strong grasp of release management tools (Atlassian), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance at both application and database levels.
Proactive leadership and mentorship, guiding junior team members effectively.
Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, adept at juggling multiple priorities efficiently.

This role is Outside IR35, 12 months, and the successful candidate will work 3 days per week from their Portsmouth office.
