Key Responsibilities: Lead the effort to reconstruct and reconcile historical financial data and clear backlogs across group companies. Manage and monitor accounts receivable , including aging analysis, follow-ups with clients, and collections strategy. Supervise monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities , ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and review financial statements , ensuring compliance with accounting standards and group policies. Work closely with external auditors , tax consultants, and regulatory bodies for audits and statutory compliance. Develop and implement internal controls , accounting processes, and documentation standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies. Lead, train, and mentor junior accounting staff; delegate tasks and monitor performance. Provide analytical support to management for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning . Participate in ERP system enhancements or transitions, ensuring accurate data migration and setup. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred). 5+ years of accounting experience , preferably within a group of companies or diverse business sectors. Proven experience handling financial backlogs and clean-up projects . Strong expertise in accounts receivable and cash flow management . Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE, Oracle, or similar ERP systems). Solid understanding of IFRS or GAAP , local tax laws, and financial compliance standards. Key Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking . Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks , meet deadlines, and perform under pressure. Proactive and solutions-oriented with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Preferred Attributes: Experience in industries such as janitorial, construction, manufacturing/trading, or medical services is a plus. Familiarity with multi-entity financial consolidation and intercompany accounting. Capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment .
