Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of credit card systems, including transaction processing, account management, and billing cycles.
- Work confidently within the VisionPLUS online architecture, including CICS, with hands-on experience in coding, debugging, and maintaining online components.
- Apply practical knowledge of the CMS (Card Management System) module to support business and technical requirements.
- Utilise familiarity with WINGSFM and VMX for developing and supporting integration and interface components.
- Manage and contribute across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including development, testing, implementation, and production support.
- Handle production support activities, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and system issues.
- Produce functional and technical design documentation, and independently create high-level and low-level solution designs.
Skills & Requirements:
- Significant software development experience within the banking and financial services sector, particularly in credit card and payment processing domains.
- Full hands-on engineering expertise in VisionPLUS, with strong working knowledge across key modules including CMS, FAS, VMx, TRAMS, and IAS.
- Proficient in Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, CICS, JCL, IAM, VSAM, Easytrieve (EZT), and File-AID/File Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously under pressure, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results to tight deadlines.
- Proven experience in technical team coordination, stakeholder engagement, and contributing to project governance and reporting.
- Comfortable working in a globally distributed environment, effectively engaging with team members and business stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Strong understanding of VisionPLUS online architecture, with hands-on experience in developing and debugging CICS-based online components.
