What you'll do:

- Take ownership of meeting audit deadlines by preparing accurate financial statements and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with relevant standards.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining accuracy across multiple entities within the group and identifying any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare trial balances and pull together comprehensive schedules to support both internal reporting requirements and external audits.
- Oversee the accounting processes for new sites and developments, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately from inception through to completion.
- Support the implementation of a new ERP system by providing expert input on data migration, process improvements, and system testing.
- Assist with consolidation activities across multiple business units, ensuring timely and accurate group reporting.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the finance team to share knowledge, resolve queries, and ensure best practices are followed throughout all accounting processes.
