Production Artist (Renders + Omnichannel)
Location: Remote
Duration: ~ 3 Months (depending on workflows could extend)
Schedule: 40 hours a week
Hourly Rate: up to $37.50 an hour/ DOE
Our Ad Agency client, is looking for a well-rounded Production Artist for a 40 hour a week, ~ 3 month role. This role is 100% remote.
This role requires experience in handling production artwork for print, digital, store, and 3D and in order to be considered having your own equipment is required.Production Artist Responsibilities:
- On a daily basis build and create renders in Photoshop.
- Read dielines and mechanicals in Illustrator.
- Make creative calls on renders in order to keep production workflows moving.
- Build out assets for POS, packaging, outdoor advertising (billboards, fleets, etc.), vending, in-store, and more.
- Produce print and digital assets from spec sheets and templates based on the creative concepts given.
- Ensure artwork is complete, accurate, and adheres to the brand standards.
- Build and recreate vector artwork as needed.
- Build the various files and renders based on the client dimensions and specifications.
- Help with manual production when needed (assembling mockups)
- Organize assets, archive, and file correctly.
- Retouch/ Color correct images for certain projects and workflows.
- Participate in pre-production and campaign meetings.
- Think proactively about problems and troubleshoot to a resolution.
- QA and ensure files are ready for production.
Production Artist Qualifications:
- 6+ years' experience working within agency, CPG, and retail space.
- Portfolio with samples and descriptions as to what work was done.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, Modo or other 3D software.
- Experience with automated digital prepress workflows.
- Experience in use/creating files with smart objects and multiple artboards.
- Strong knowledge of layout, aesthetic design, color theory, die schematics, and printer specs.
