A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an ElectroMechanical Engineer Position Type: Full time - Contract Location: Newport News VA 23607 Duration: 12+ Months As an ElectroMechanical Engineer, you will: Responsible for: Applies electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. 14 Years with bachelor's in science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD Minimum Qualifications: Experience in new Turbine Generator design, including establishment of specifications and review of supplier deliverables. Proficient in supplier management. Strong established relationships with external stakeholders including NAVSEA, Naval Nuclear Laboratory, industry suppliers, and Electric Boat. Top 3 skills: Technical proficiency in Turbine Generator Design Familiarity with Client's Engineered Component Development Process Technical writing for component design deliverables Note: Employee will be working in a production environment and will need basic orientation, confined space training, fall protection training, and respiratory fit testing/training.
