Finance & Operations Assistant / Remote (UK-based) / Part-Time (Mon Fri, 4 hours/day) / £28,000 £30,000 (pro-rata)

The Finance & Operations Assistant Role:

This is a key support role within our finance and operations function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you ll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our financial admin processes and provide essential support to operational areas like timesheet management, contractor renewals, and onboarding.

What You ll Be Doing:

Process purchase invoices and match with POs
Chase and manage employee and contractor timesheets
Maintain and update staff leave and absences in our project system
Assist with contractor documentation and renewal tracking
Help coordinate background checks for new hires and contractors
Support the monthly sales invoicing process
Post transactions and assist with payment runs
Prepare documentation for year-end audits

What You ll Bring:

Accounting qualification or experience in a finance support role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
Excellent written and verbal communication

Bonus points for:

Experience using Project Management Systems
Familiarity with Sage Intacct
