Job Title: HR Generalist (Contract covering maternity leave)

Pay: $30-$40 /hr

Addison Group is actively seeking an HR Generalist to join our client’s growing HR team temporarily. This role offers the chance to contribute to a variety of human resources functions in a dynamic and mission-driven organization. Job Description:

The HR Generalist will support core HR operations including employee relations, HR administration, recruiting coordination, compliance efforts, and internal programs aimed at employee development and engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, people-focused, and ready to handle a wide range of HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a resource for employees regarding policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
Partner with managers to support employee relations, performance conversations, and issue resolution.
Coordinate offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and managing separation documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and related systems, ensuring data quality and privacy.
Manage employee changes such as promotions, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
Assist with HR programs like annual reviews, engagement surveys, and compensation planning.
Ensure alignment with employment law and company policies; recommend updates as needed.
Contribute to full-cycle recruitment, including job postings and applicant tracking.
Support benefits enrollment and administration efforts in coordination with internal teams.
Collaborate on special projects and cross-functional HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

3+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity.
Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations.
Experience with HR software (Vista Viewpoint ERP, iCIMS) is a plus.

Additional Details:

Contract starting ASAP, covering maternity leave until end of November.
Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm.
Hybrid: In office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays.
