Principal Structural Engineer with Security Clearance

Our client, a global engineering, procurement, and construction company that collaborates with leaders in the energy, infrastructure, life sciences, advanced technologies, mining, and metals industries, as well as government agencies, is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer. Title: Principal Structural Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 months or longer
Pay rate: $80/hr on W2 (depending on experience) Responsibilities: Provide technical direction to assigned engineers
Conduct construction document reviews as required
Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects
Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design
Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required
Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor of Science in engineering with a minimum of 15 years' experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to specialized (nuclear or other areas) engineering design
Professional Engineer License preferred but not required About our client:
