An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance team in a newly created role, Senior Finance Business Partner reporting to the Finance Director - Financial Planning and Reporting.
Location: Head Office, Middlesbrough
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Hybrid working available with a minimum of two days based in the office.
As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, supporting and developing a team of Business Partner Accountants, as well as embedding a finance business partnering approach throughout the business.
- Provide financial expertise and advice on new commercial opportunities, initiatives, investments and projects.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans with continuous monitoring of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances to management.
- Oversee the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information presented.
- Support the Finance Director - Financial Planning and Reporting with continuous improvement initiatives seeking efficiencies and best in class practices.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with 3+ years post qualification experience.
- Has experience in a business partnering or financial leadership role.
- Has a proven track record of utilising systems to drive insight using financial and non-financial data.
- Has excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Has strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop employees.
