A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Engineering Technician. Position Type: Full time Contract, Temp to Perm
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) As an Engineering Technician, you will:
• Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
• Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. • Assist in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. • Work from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. • May work with complex machines or computer systems. • Operate related equipment, conduct tests and report data in prescribed format. • Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions. The ideal candidate will have:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Pay Range : $22-$24 per hour.
