Job Description
Addison Group is actively seeking a Medical Payment Poster to join our client’s revenue cycle team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with healthcare payment posting experience who’s looking to join a stable and supportive environment. The role is initially onsite, with potential for remote flexibility after training.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from bank accounts and online portals
- Accurately post insurance payments to patient accounts using internal systems
- Support the billing team in reducing the payment posting backlog
- Collaborate with team members and leadership through virtual platforms (Teams)
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with financial data and access procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical payment posting experience preferred
- Familiarity with hospital-based payment posting is highly desired
- Experience with systems like Medik or similar healthcare platforms
- Comfortable working with bank portals and financial documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be open to an onsite schedule for onboarding and training
