Responsibilities: Conduct preventative maintenance and detailed inspections on diesel/gas engines, hydraulic power units, heaters, air conditioners, and associated GSE
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and structural components on a wide variety of support systems
Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of equipment in support of operational readiness
Prepare systems and components for calibration and testing, ensuring functional accuracy and compliance
Perform corrosion control tasks and metal fabrication, including cleaning, priming, painting, and simple part creation
Execute validation/verification testing of systems to meet regulatory and contractual compliance
Document maintenance activities, test results, and repairs using approved methods and technical publications
Inspect components to verify airworthiness and operational reliability
Work under general direction while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 3 years' experience in aircraft and/or ground support equipment maintenance
Strong working knowledge of ground safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, spill prevention, and PPE usage
Ability and willingness to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
U.S. Citizenship and ability to maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MH-139 helicopter maintenance and/or modifications
