Client Overview:

Out client is a forward-thinking investment management firm committed to helping individuals, institutions, and organizations grow and preserve their wealth. With a disciplined, research-driven approach, they deliver tailored investment strategies that align with clients’ long-term financial goals and risk tolerance. Their team is now looking for a Compensation Consultant (Contract).

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55/hr - $65/hr

Position Overview:

The Compensation Consultant (Contract) will support the compensation team in delivering key compensation programs and administrative processes during the employee's leave. The contractor will focus on specific, high-priority tasks to ensure continuity in compensation services and projects. This contract role is schedule to be 5 months with possible extension.

Responsibilities of the Compensation Consultant (Contract):

Compensation Program Support.
Support year-end merit, equity, and incentive compensation processes.
Assist with job evaluations and internal equity assessments.
Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation survey data.
Compensation Analysis and Reporting.
Analyze and summarize market survey results to support compensation decisions.
Prepare data reports and visualizations for leadership and HRBPs.
Develop communication tools and training materials on compensation practices.
Client Support.
Advise HR Business Partners and managers on compensation guidelines, salary recommendations, and market data interpretation.
Respond to compensation-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Project and Systems Support.
Assist in planning and coordinating mid-sized compensation projects.
Partner with HRIS to maintain data integrity in Workday and related systems.

Required Experience/Skills for the Compensation Consultant (Contract):

6+ years of compensation experience, including base salary and incentive compensation.
Ability to develop strong, credible relationships with client groups; previous experience working in a consultative environment a plus
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with WorkDay.
Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations, including FLSA.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Compensation Consultant (Contract):

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
Experience with Workday strongly preferred.
Background in financial services highly desirable and prioritized during selection process.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field.
