Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic business development plans: Identify target markets, analyze market trends, and create actionable plans to expand the credit union's presence.Generate new business leads: attend industry events and leverage existing relationships to acquire new members and business clients. Cultivate existing relationships: Build strong relationships with current members and businesses, providing personalized financial advice and solutions. Promote the credit union products and services: Assist in developing marketing materials, conduct presentations, and participate in community events to promote the credit union's offerings. Analyze market data and competitor activity: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making. Track and measure performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to membership growth, loan origination, and revenue generation. Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with Credit, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives. Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or financial services. Proven track record of success in generating new business and expanding market share. Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Personal Attributes Strong understanding of the credit union industry and its regulatory environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to apply initiative, work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. A reliable motor vehicle is required for this position and only shortlist candidates will be contacted.
