Job Title: Head of Legal - Commercial

Key responsibilities of Head of Legal - Commercial:
- Acting as the primary legal advisor to senior stakeholders, including the Executive Team and Board of Directors
- Leading and developing the legal function, including managing a high-performing legal team
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements and strategic contracts
- Providing strategic legal guidance to support business growth, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance
- Advising on complex legal and regulatory matters including commercial law, corporate law, IP, data protection, and employment law
- Managing the legal aspects of transactions, including partnerships, funding arrangements, and M&A activities
- Developing and implementing legal policies, templates, and training to support operational Fefficiency
- Overseeing company secretarial responsibilities and maintaining high standards of governance
- Acting as Data Protection Officer, leading on privacy compliance and regulatory liaison
- Managing relationships with external counsel and legal service providers
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in a senior in-house legal role, ideally with exposure to commercial or technology sectors
- Experience leading legal teams and working with executive leadership
