Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the Global Command and Control System Joint (GCCS-J) infrastructure Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems and virtual environments (KVM) Perform software installations, patch updates, and compliance using DoD-approved tools (e.g., DADS) Monitor logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and maintain system availability 24/7 Provide application support and technical continuity for Agile Server/Client environments Implement configuration management using Ansible and maintain HPE ProLiant hardware Install updates and maintain security configurations for both Linux and Windows-based systems Collaborate with stakeholders and train military personnel on system use and continuity Provide on-call technical support during exercises and contingency operations Qualifications: Active Secret Clearance (required) Bachelor s degree in IT or related field preferred CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification 4+ years of experience in System Administration 3+ years hands-on with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) 2+ years supporting Microsoft Windows in a networked environment Strong command-line, scripting, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams Why Join Our Mission: You'll support a high-impact mission that matters to the nation and to those who serve.
