Test & Evaluation Engineering Support Specialist Manassas, VA Contract Position Pay Estimated: $33.00-$38.94/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Join Moseley Technical Services in supporting the U.S. and Australian submarine fleets with critical systems like the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator (MTWS). As a Test & Evaluation Engineering Support Specialist, you'll work closely with Navy stakeholders, internal production teams, and industry partners to ensure flawless system integration and performance. Responsibilities: Collaborating with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct testing and integration. Employing a professional and confident approach when working with various engineering groups and external entities to define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests. Identifying functional issues and proposing effective resolutions. Operating in a fast-paced, integrated product development team comprising professionals from multiple contracting organizations and DoD laboratory entities. Developing and analyzing test cases while providing regular progress updates. Reporting to a supervisor or manager, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy in your work. Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire Requires a Bachelor's 'OR' Technology degree in Engineering 'OR' a related specialized area/field, 'OR' equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Must have experience with one of the following skills/systems: AN/BLQ-10 AN/BYG-1 Submarine Weapon Launchers AN/BQQ-10 systems. Technical Skills: Proficient in test engineering principles and object-oriented programming
Experience with scripting languages and system processes
Must be willing to travel occasionally to submarine home ports for field service support Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
