Job Title: Skilled Trades Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location (city, state): Remote (U.S. Based)

Industry: Mining

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible schedule available)

Compensation: $32 - $40 per/hour (flexible for the right candidate)

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources; OR
Bachelor’s degree with at least three (3) years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices related to recruitment and hiring
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technologies
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of requisitions across multiple disciplines
Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in mining, energy, oil/gas, or industrial sectors is a plus

Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client’s remote recruiting team. This role focuses on sourcing and managing candidates for skilled trades positions within a fast-paced, high-demand environment. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle recruiting experience and the ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and prioritize recruitment efforts across 30+ technical and skilled trade openings
Screen candidate applications, conduct phone interviews, and assess qualifications
Coordinate background checks, generate pay models, and prepare offer letters
Collaborate with HR and departmental leadership to align hiring strategies with operational goals
Maintain up-to-date candidate records and recruitment documentation
