Global financial services organisation seeking ServiceNow Developer with strong experience in the Policy and Compliance module to support enhancements, customization, and process optimization for our issues management functionality. You will be responsible for extending and refining the existing module configuration, enhancing workflows, and improving user experience through intelligent use of other ServiceNow modules. This is a hands-on development role that will also include reviewing and managing notification logic, as well as improving how applications are linked to issue records.
Key Responsibilities - Customize and enhance the Policy and Compliance module used for the issues management process.
- Add custom fields, dropdowns, and relationships using capabilities from other ServiceNow modules.
- Modify existing workflows to support multiple workflow paths based on new business logic or risk classifications.
- Refactor and streamline notification rules:
- Review existing notification triggers.
- Add, delete, or amend notifications based on updated business needs.
- Implement logic to allow multiple application references (APMs) on a single issue record (currently limited to one).
- Perform data cleanup, module maintenance, and workflow validation in alignment with compliance standards.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both functional and regulatory requirements.
