Project Engineer

£45.00p/h - £50.00p/h (Outside IR35 - Ltd Co.)
Initial 6-month contract - High likelihood of extension
Liverpool Manchester Wigan St Helens Warrington
Process / Mechanical / SolidWorks / AutoCAD

I am currently working with a key client who are specialists in the design, installation, and management of engineering projects across manufacturing. Due to an increasing workload, they are looking for a Project Engineer on an initial 6-month contract.

For the position of Project Engineer, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:

Producing/modifying technical drawings using SolidWorks / AutoCAD
Conducting site surveys and creating technical scopes
Overseeing layout and design of steel platforms, pipework, conveyors and associated food process equipment
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal employees
Coordinating manpower and ensuring all RAMS, safety standards, and documentation are in place

The successful Project Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
In-depth experience in the food processing or manufacturing sector
Strong understanding of fabrication and mechanical installation processes
Proven experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design and detailing
Full lifecycle project delivery experience, from survey to sign-off
