Interim Assistant Management Accountant

Interim Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Leeds/Hybrid Contract Type: Interim
A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join on an interim basis for 6 months+. This is a key opportunity to support a dynamic business during a period of expansion, working closely with senior finance and operational teams.The successful candidate will contribute to the production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting, while helping to maintain strong financial controls and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial packs for internal and external stakeholdersMaintain control schedules and ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting deadlinesManage invoicing and payment processes across various accountsHandle monthly prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliationsReconcile bank accounts and assist with annual budget preparationAct as a point of contact for accounting queriesSupport annual statutory auditsCollaborate with internal departments across finance, operations, and support functionsUndertake ad-hoc finance tasks as required

Experience & Qualifications
Actively studying towards an accountancy qualification.2 years+ of relevant accounting experienceFamiliarity with finance softwareStrong organisational and time management skills
