Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to work at our customer's site in Derby on a 6-month contract basis.
Role details:
- Role title - Finance Business Partner
- Contract duration - 6 months
- Contract type - PAYE via Umbrella - INSIDE IR35
- Hours - 37 hours days (overtime achievable)
- Location - Derby
Key accountabilities will include:
- Working with Senior Management Teams to ensure that the business meets or exceeds financial commitments, identifying drivers and connections of business performance.
- Developing business plans, cases, and investment requests in collaboration with the business area.
- Developing financial and commercial strategies for new work and contract renewals, including transitioning to more risk-based contracts and operating under Single Source Contracting Regulations. Financial evaluation of Business Evaluation Forms.
- Producing balanced, challenging business forecasts supported by coherent assumptions.
- Ensuring contract reviews meet governance requirements and challenge business performance.
- Interfacing regularly with customers through performance reviews and supporting safeguarding of customer assets as required.
- Ensuring cost claims, cost certificates, and cost rates are provided and justified to auditors.
