Teller & Banking Representative

NuVista Federal Credit Union - Gunnison CO

Overview:

Looking for a highly motivated, positive, and dedicated Teller & Banking Representative who enjoys meeting and helping people, a team player, great communicator, is detailed oriented, has a desire to learn to have positive impact on an organization as well as the community.

Teller & Banking Representative Roles and Duties:

Assist members with financial transactions including, but not limited to; member deposits and withdraws, ordering member checks, servicing vault/ATM maintenance and follow all Credit Union policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

Teller & Banking Representative Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience is helpful.

Education: High school education or GED equivalent.

Interpersonal Skills : A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work will involve motivating or influencing others and being a team player. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and /or individuals) becomes necessary.

Other Skills: Good listening and telephone skills. Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer. Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Word is required. Experience using financial credit union software is a plus. Able to make decisions with minimal information and be detailed in data evaluation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
