Brake Press Operator, Hampshire, Contract (Mon-Fri, 37 hours per week)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating brake press machines and a strong understanding of metal fabrication. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured components used in critical communication systems and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on brake press machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to accurately produce parts.
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to address any issues or improvements in the manufacturing process.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication and sheet metal work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a British citizen to obtain necessary security clearances.
