Internal Events Manager

Location: Remote but local to Cupertino, CA
Duration: 12 months
Pay: ~$57/hour, DOE

The Planet Group is looking for aInternal Events Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will be fully remote but the candidate must be local to Cupertino, CA as special event attendance may be required.

Internal Events Manager Responsibilities:

Ensure events, programs, and workshops are engaging, inspiring, and aligned with the client's strategic priorities
Work across the business to produce thoughtful and engaging content for a global audience
Produce high quality experiences for teams around the world
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders
Program operational communication plans for events
Collaborate with cross functional partners and interface with executive level leadership
Key skills for this role are strong organizational and communication abilities, executive presence, a detail-oriented and flexible approach, and experience in event management and vendor relations.

Internal Events Manager Qualifications:

3-5 years in Marketing, PR, Events, and/or Internal Engagement
Solid project management experience with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines
Strong executive presence
Excellent communication skills, ability to work as a member of a team and thrive under pressure
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to focus and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinker who can balance creativity with practicality
Experience working with international teams
Experience in event management and vendor relations
