Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $75.00 / Hourly

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Overview: Seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience leading complex technology initiatives, business process reengineering (BPR), and enterprise system evaluations. This role involves overseeing projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage BPR and IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
Define project scope, assess risks, and drive process improvement initiatives
Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera, MS Project, or similar tools
Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams through selection, integration, migration, QA/QC testing, training, and implementation
Oversee proposal reviews, specifications, and work plans for systems integration and development
Conduct stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment on project vision, milestones, and outcomes
Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and prepare reports for leadership
Manage software QA, testing, error tracking, and database maintenance of corrections
Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders and contractors to monitor progress
Ensure long-term sustainability of systems by implementing best practices and lessons learned

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong background in system integration, testing, and change management
Proficiency in project management methodologies, cost estimation, scheduling, and variance reporting
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, databases, and ability to master new applications quickly
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently with minimal supervision
Problem-solving mindset with a track record of delivering successful enterprise system implementations

Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of IT Project Management experience, including consulting
Verifiable experience with Transit Industry projects, including knowledge of voice, data, and power systems
Hands-on experience designing low and high-voltage AC/DC power systems
Proven experience with large enterprise system implementation projects
Formal training and expertise in Project Management with tools such as Primavera, MS Project, and Project Scheduler
