Summary:
We are looking for a QA Specialist I to support our Environmental Monitoring group. This role involves environmental and microbiological testing to ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP standards in cleanroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform environmental monitoring (air, surface, particulate, water) in ISO-classified areas
- Conduct microbiological testing (e.g., bioburden) on samples
- Accurately document results per GMP requirements
- Rotate into weekend schedule once certified
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year lab or microbiology experience (required)
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and on weekends (as part of a rotation)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (e.g., biology, microbiology, environmental science) or equivalent relevant experience.
