Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to any concerns. This position requires both armed responsibilities and driving duties, offering a dynamic environment where you will interact with employees and visitors while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence. Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized entry. Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
