SC Cleared - Migration / Rollout Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute migration and rollout activities for IT infrastructure and systems.
Ensure seamless transition of services with minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed migration strategies and schedules.
Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software components during deployment phases.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes, configurations, and issues.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams during rollout activities.
Monitor progress and escalate issues promptly to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to security protocols and compliance standards throughout all migration and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must have active SC clearance
Proven experience in migration and rollout engineering within complex IT environments.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, servers, and enterprise hardware.
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualisation technologies is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications such as ITIL, Cisco, or Microsoft are desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
