On behalf of Network Rail we are looking for a Data Analyst for a 6 month (Inside IR35) contract. Hybrid working with 2 days per week required in York.

As a Data Analyst your main responsibilities will be to:

. Provide technical advice on standards and procedures to other members of the Asset Management B&C team.
. Input to the development of data analysis work to establish emerging trends in lead indicators as precursor to asset failure.
. Undertake subsequent analysis work.

Essential:

. Experience in data management, databases and information management working with large data sets.
. SQL experience.
. Experience in preparing reports and data visualisations.
. An understanding of the fundamentals of information architecture and data management strategies and techniques.
. Experience with software such as MS Access, Power BI, coding, and cloud based apps such as Salesforce.
